which is opening on Saturday 1st June 2013...
there is also a fabulous grand opening candy prize draw taking place,
with fantastic prizes from our wonderful sponsors...

My first DT card has been made using a beautiful image from A Day for Daisies... I thoroughly enjoyed making my card, the image was so lovely to colour...  I used my favourite dies again, the butterflies and the hear and bow and used a new embossing folder, which I highlighted using green ink and red promarker pen... I felt it matched the flowers on the image perfectly... some gemstones and blossoms and my card was complete....

A Day For Daisies is sponsoring our Forever Friends Favourite prize and one lucky winner will receive a $12 gift voucher to spend at their web-store.  If you click here you will be taken to their store where you can see all the gorgeous digi images on sale, worth a visit, you will be spoilt for choice :o)

I would like to enter my girl card in the following challenges:
A Day For Daisies No70: Anything Goes
Ooh la la: Seeing red
Songbird No20: Bloom and Grow

My second DT card has been made using these fab clear stamps from Cupids Clear Stamps... such a cute looking little baby.  The stamp comes in a set and it is so versatile as it can be used for either a baby boy card or a baby girl card...  I decided to add lots of stars on my card, from the backing paper, ribbon, peel offs and die cuts - a bit of star overload :o)  I layered the baby image, to give my card more dimension (see photo below).

Cupids Clear Stamps is sponsoring our Randomly Selected winners prize and they are offering one lucky winner the fabulous baby set of stamps below, plus a handmade by stamp of the winners choice.  Click here to be taken to their web-store where you can buy some gorgeous stamps sets... pop across and have a look, they are so lovely you will want to fill your basket up !!

Below is an example of the type of stamp you could choose, plus a photo of my own personal handmade stamp which I use all the time :o)

I would like to enter my baby card into the following challenges...
Crafty Cats: 3, 2, 1 (3 dies, 2 papers, 1 ribbon)

Midway reminder of Forever Friends Monthly Challenge

Hello and welcome...

Cannot believe we are half way through the month of May.... where is the time going to ?  This means thats its time for a reminder about Forever Friends Monthly challenge....

Click HERE to be taken to Forever Friends Blog and take a look at more stunning inspiration from our fabulous design team ladies.   Click HERE to be taken to the orginal monthy posting, where you can enter your cards via 'Mr Linky'.

We are sponsored this month by two wonderful companies - Bugaboo and Di's Digi Downloads... Click HERE to read details of our sponsors.

I have made another card for this challenge using fab images from Bugaboo and I thoroughly enjoyed making my card.   It has been made for a special lady (Brenda) who works in our department at work.  She is retiring and I just had to use Bugaboo's image called 'Stella' for her card.

I had to alter 'Stella's' face slightly, as Brenda is one of those lovely people who is always smiling and helping everybody and so 'Stella' had to have a smiley mouth.

The inside and the back of the card was also decorated with images of 'Stella', with plenty of space for everyone to write their goodbye messages.

I would like to enter my retirement card into the following challenges...

Penny's No126: Die Cuts and/or Punches
Crafty Catz No182: Anything Goes
Sentimental Sundays No154: For a Special Woman plus sentiment
A Gem of a Challenge: Things with wings (butterflies and bird)

Thanks for popping over to see my card.
I always appreciate your visits and reading your kind comments.

Hope you can join in the challenge at Forever Friends

Have a great week.

Forever Friends Fortnightly Challenege No61

Hello and welcome...

If you live in the UK, hope you are enjoying your bank holiday weekend, isn't it lovely having an extra day off work :o)...

Over at Forever Friends, the fortnightly challenge has been posted, pop over and take a look... the DT cards are stunning and definitely worth a look. The theme of this times challenge is to make a card/project using pastel colours - nice and easy.

I have made two DT cards for the challenge using gorgeous images provided to me by our 2 wonderful sponsors - Oak Pond Creations and Whoopsi Daisy.  Scroll further down my post for details about WD and OPC.

I needed an anniversary card for my Sister and Brother-in-Law and the two love birds image from Whoopsi Daisy was absolutely perfect for them, as they own 2 love birds of their own called Tuppence and Thripence (as in old UK money before decimalisation)...

Their birds are so cute and are always sat on their perch huddled together :o)   So I know my card will be well received next week.

I would like to enter my Anniversary card into the following challenges:
Flutter by Wednesdays No238: Love (included butterfly)
Penny's No125: Animals
One Stop Craft No227: Flower Power

And I just couldn't wait to work with this gorgeous image from OPC  :o) ... this owl just makes me smile, plus it meant I could use papers from my new paper pad, which is full of different designs of owl papers... the flowers are cut from another paper from the same pad.  I am starting to make 'thank you' cards for some of Benjamin's teachers and teaching assistants, who have given Benjamin lots of support whilst he has been at secondary school... still cannot believe he will be leaving school in June... where have all those years gone ?

I would like to enter my owl card into the following challenges...
Tuesday Throwdown No145: Thank You Teacher
Sweet Sketch Wednesday: My take on their lovely sketch, which I have rotated
Jelly Park: Girly

Here are more details about our 2 wonderful sponsors...

The Sponsor of the Randomly Selected Winners Prize is Whoopsi Daisy
who are offering 4 sheets of digi images to one lucky winner

The Sponsor of the Forever Friends Favourite Winner is Oak Pond Creations
who are offering 2 digis to one lucky winner

My first card has been made using a beautiful digi image I was provided with from Michelle - thanks very much :o)  I really do love her images...The image is called Easter Lily Fairy and she is so lovely to colour.  I am so pleased with how my card turned out - it has been made for my cousin Bev; whose birthday next week.    All the flowers on the backing paper are so lovely - they are slightly raised off the paper and are glittered, unfortunately my camera has only picked this up on the flowers on the top left of my card :o(

I Love Promarkers No162 - Favourite Colour (Pink)
Totally Papercraft No161 - Birthday Girl in Pink

My second card has been made using the gorgeous daisy digi papers from Bearly Mine Designs, who are a new sponsor who have joined our Forever Friends Family - Welcome.

My little Forever Friends bear has been decoupaged which gives depth to my card and again I've used my favourite ribbon and bow die ...  added ribbon and lace to make it even more 'girly'.

Sorry the photo is slightly dark, it was early morning when I took the photo and the sun hadnt appeared properly... my hubby had to take the card into work for a colleague of his (Ann), so I couldnt wait for better light...
