Ramblings:
Hope you have all enjoyed the bank holiday weekend. The weather here in the North West has been absolutely lovely, hope it was good where ever you live - last week we decided not to go out anywhere this weekend, but to decorate instead - not knowing that the weather was going to be beautiful - well never mind - our decorating had to come first. So I'm glad it was lovely and warm - the doors are varnished both sides, they soon dried in this weather and look lovely. The wall is now papered and has 2 coats of emulsion on - as well as me being covered in paint splashes yet again - I never fail to get in a mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We just need to lay the laminate flooring now - but that's for another weekend, hopefully next. That's my hubbys job - I have tried to lay flooring in the past, but I havent got the knack - so I'll just be the 'GOFOR'.

My two children, Sarah and Benjamin, had a good day as well. Sarah and 3 of her friends decided to go and visit a lovely park in our next town, they got a lift there off my hubby, but they decided to walk home - well our intrepid explorers got lost, twice, and after 3 hours of walking, 2 phone calls home, they were rescued by Danielle's Dad who drove out to collect them. Sarah said they just seemed to laugh all afternoon. She hasn't even complained about the two blisters on her feet either..... Benjamin went out with his friends and bought and ate lots of sweets, you'd think after all the chocolate eggs he ate yesterday, he'd be off sweets for a week !!!!!!

Well enough ramblings for today - bye for now - Diane

Hi Diane! I JUST began making cards ... I've done 4 so far ... so I'm searching blogs for inspiration. I LOVE this adorable "Good Luck" card! I was impressed to see how you even colored in the little girl's round pink cheeks. So cute! Did you use a waterbrush or watercolors for her? Or something else? I'm really still learning and would appreciate any advice! Thanks a million for sharing on your blog!
